How to be #1 on Amazon’s Bestseller List

By Melanie Johnson

Publishing a book is always amazing, but what’s even better is being able to tell everyone that you are the #1 on Amazon’s Bestseller list. You may think it’s impossible, but it may not be as hard as you think it will be if you follow these tips.

If you want to be #1, you will have to prove why readers will want to buy your book. Keep a target audience in mind when it comes to your book. If you have that audience ready before you publish your book, then that means your book will be in demand when it is released. Now, you don’t have to write about a topic you hate just because you know the topic will be successful. You just have to look for a mindframe that will be people and go from there.

It’s one thing to write a book that others would want to read, but you want to make sure it is a book that YOU would want to read as well. You can’t effectively sell a book if you don’t even like it. This will come in handy when you are thinking about things like the title. If your title is hard to remember and doesn’t get your point across even to you, then it’s not going to hit off well with readers either.

When it comes to marketing, there are various ways to ensure people will know about your book. If your offering chapter samples of your book, put links to video summaries of your book or other things of the sort. You can also add links to the end of your book for fun giveaways and to your social media.

Make sure you get influencers to read your book. They can have a huge impact on the success of your book. People trust word-of-mouth because it usually comes from someone they trust, and they will be more willing to buy a book if they have heard someone talk about it before.

Marketing is the key to a successful book. Use email lists if you have those. Go on a podcast so you can talk about your book. Send samples of your book out to lure in readers who want to read more. Your marketing strategy will be unique from others, and you have to decide which works the best for your book.

If you keep these tips in mind, you will see your book soar to that coveted #1 spot on Amazon. It’s the perfect place to see all your hard work go.
