Calendar Your Porch Date!

By Ann McIndoo

I will always remember the day my first box of books arrived. I had never been so happy to pick up a 50 pound box – I ripped it open like a little kid on Christmas day. Seeing my books for the first time and holding them in my hands gave me the feeling of joy, pride and an amazing feeling of accomplishment. I felt two things at that very moment. My first thought was: I did it! I am now a published author! My second thought was: I now have a powerful tool that will allow me to teach others and help them write their books.

At that moment I wished for every aspiring author to have this same experience, and made a commitment to help them publish their book. I also came up with the term “Porch Date”.

To some, the idea of writing a book can be a frightening or overwhelming project. How do I get started? What should I say? How do I organize my materials? It can be overwhelming. The great news is that writing your book can be easy, quick and fun – especially with an Author’s Coach showing you the way and taking you step-by-step through the process.

So, what day do you want your books to arrive on your porch? From book idea in your head to a manuscript in your hands, it could be as little as 12 weeks. Decide on your Porch Date now and mark it down!

To your writing success!
