WHY WE NEED RAVING FANS:
It perhaps seems obvious, raving fans of course we need them, But the truth is you NEED THEM. What I mean is that it is not 'NICE TO HAVE THEM' but you actually need them. These are not the fair weathered fans who show up when the sun is shining, they have nothing to do and the tickets are FREE. These are NOT fans, fans are "fanatical" and that means that they "BELIEVE" in what you are doing and WHY you are doing it. They believe that by working with you they will become more like YOU (this is the same for companies, they want to represent themselves by representing YOU).

I stress there is nothing more important then this acquisition and development of "Raving Fans". The SHOCKER for most people, IT STARTS in the most UNLIKELY of places, the OFFICE or work place. Yes, I know you may think because they are showing up for a paycheck that they "have your back', they are willing to go through the 'tough times' with you ... MAKE NO MISTAKE, this may not be the case.

You need the fans inside the work place because they will attract them OUTSIDE the work place. Because they are infected with the bug others will become infected with the "BUG". Because they "Get It" easily others will get "IT" easily. FANS of the product are products of the product. They use the product DAILY, in fact in their minds they CANNOT LIVE WITHOUT IT, why would anyone?

What really helps captivate a potential RAVING FAN is are you playing the music that speaks DIRECTLY TO THEM. The song that gets them up and makes them run faster. What people want to hear is what they already like, what they already aspire to ... start there. Make sure that your story connects to the people that work with you first.

From there the rest will only get harder, but it will be worth it.
